Dunns Swamp is located in Wollemi National Park roughly 4.5 hours north west of Sydney. It is an easy drive across the Blue Mountains, then on to Lithgow, taking the turn off towards Mudgee. From there you can either turn at Capertree and take the more scenic route through Glen Alice on patches of dirt road or take a more direct route through Kandos, via Rylstone.

It is easy 2WD access and National Parks have created a designated campground, with allocated spots for tents, camper trailers and caravans. The main attraction being Dunns Swamp which is a beautiful water way surrounded by rock cliffs that has been created by the damming of the water way.

When we went there was an honour system to pay camp fees, which are $5 per adult per night and $3 per child.
